A hands-on workshop led by artist and sculptor Steve GerberichFresh from Gerbos garage: Flappets! Pull a string, Zing! Flap goes the tails, fins, and wings! Choose to build one of many whimsical animal species a Sockwhale, Glovebird, or even a butterfly. This newly developed inquiry-based workshop combines common materials and employs simple mechanical interactions. A very involved workshop in which participants will be in charge of their own drilling, jig sawing, hot gluing, knot tying, screwing, rigging, painting and more.
