Concha Buika is a Spanish singer. Born in 1972 into a family from Equatorial Guinea, Concha Buika grew up alongside a gypsy community on the Spanish island of Mallorca. She is considered a new star in flamenco music, with a voice that has been described as a mix of tina Turner, Lola Flores and Sarah Vaughan. Buika mixes soul, jazz and funk with raw flamenco. This performance is a tribute to Chavela Vargas.
