The focus picture for this gallery talk is 'The Agony in the Garden' by Mantegna, painted in around 1460. It is one of a series of talks celebrating Chinese New Year, taking the Year of the Rabbit as its starting point. After her BSL-interpreted talk, artist and lecturer Aliki Braine will join BSL users for an informal discussion. These lively discussion groups in BSL are an opportunity to ask questions and share ideas about the chosen painting. This event is free, with no need to book - just take a seat in Room 62 of the National Gallery. The talk starts at 1pm.
