Go Van Gogh supports marriage for all this Friday October 24th 9 PM at El Rio‏

Dear List

Having been married myself many times, I am excited about this next Go Van Gogh show. It's a benefit to pay for the fight against PROPOSITION 8. For those of you who are politically challenged, or just too lazy to pay attention, Proposition 8 is the ballot measure that proposes amending our California Constitution to define marriage in California as being only between a man and a woman. Should it pass, Proposition 8 would overthrow the historic California Supreme Court May 15, 2008 decision which established the fundamental right of non-heterosexual couples to marry the person they love.

In my eyes, any law or group that would stand in the way of love (between consenting adults), in any of its myriad forms, including Marriage (which is not for the faint of heart) is anti people, and must be opposed, defeated, trounced, stopped in its tracks, and kept from happening in general. Bobo's first rule is "LOVE MUST RULE". So it is essential that you join the fight in that absolutely San Francisco way, and come to a party with live music, and drinks (lots of drinks). As how can we over come oppression with depression. Instead let us raise our glasses high, and give money to the sober people who do the real work of moving change ahead.

As many of my dear readers have complained about the lenghth of these letters to my dear dear friends, I now cut to the chase with the details
