Artist Alejandro Diaz will join us to discuss his exhibition 'Blame it on Mexico.' The artist uses humor to draw attention to the embedded cultural stereotypes with which he is familiar from his bicultural Mexican/Texan upbringing, as well as from his more recent experiences in the contemporary art world. Participants will enjoy a tour of the exhibitions, led by an Aldrich docent, followed by a lunch discussion with the artist himself. Visitors should bring a brown bag lunch, and the Museum will provide coffee, tea and dessert.
