Bring your lunch and listen to Christene Gonzales Aldeis share her experiences as the first female train engineer in the US for the Santa Fe Railroad. She worked on the rail lines that run through Las Cruces. Currently, she is a Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Field Safety Support Manager and is active with Operation Lifesaver in El Paso. The Las Cruces Railroad Museum is at the intersection of Mesilla Avenue and Las Cruces Avenue. The Branigan Cultural Center and the Las Cruces Railroad Museum will offer a brown bag lunch series the second Tuesday of each month. Program topics will focus on current exhibits and local and regional history.
