Brown Bag Lecture - Policing the Railroads: A Brief History and how Citizens can Help August 12, 2008

Special Agent Gene Gilmore will present a brief history of the railroad police and their role in maintaining safety in the Old West up to today. He will also provide information on Citizens for Rail Security, the Burlington Northern Santa Fes new safety program. CRS encourages rail fans and other concerned citizens to help the BNSF by becoming involved in ensuring that railroads are kept safe from vandalism, terrorism, and other incidents. Bring your lunch to eat during the lecture. Light refreshments will be served. RSVP encouraged.
