The Las Cruces Railroad Museum is hosting a lecture series at noon on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. This series continues on Tuesday, June 8 with Early Law Enforcement in New Mexico. Jim Beasley is a Deputy with the Dona Ana Sheriff’s Department and is curator of the Law Enforcement Museum.
2010 marks the 100th year of our Santa Fe Railroad Depot. To honor this momentous occasion we have invited 11 speakers to present 100 Years Ago: A Cross Cultural Look at Life in 1910 Southern New Mexico. The lecture series is a designated We the People project by the New Mexico Humanities Council. Light refreshments will be served. Reservations are appreciated at 647-4480.

In reference to early law enforcement, I am looking for information on a Badge I have had for 50 years. It is a shield that says Anthony Rangers New Mexico Texas, Jack P. Spilsbury. Any information about the rangers ? Thanks
