With more cold snowy days ahead of us, Brooklyn families will being looking for ways to shake off the winter blues in the coming months. Brooklyn Kids Rock!, a family music festival and community event, is one fun and exciting way they will be able to do just that.

Taking place on Saturday, March 5 at the Brooklyn Masonic Temple from 12pm-4pm, Brooklyn Kids Rock! will feature some of the hottest bands on the New York children’s music scene. With performances by Jeremy Plays Guitar, Tres Leches and Rolie Polie Guacamole, families will dance, sing, move and groove. Carnival games, face painting, balloon animals, food, drink and more will add to the fun!

Tickets are $12 in advance and will be $15 at the door. Children under 2 years free. All of the proceeds from this family music festival will benefit The Maple Street School, a non-profit preschool in Prospect Lefferts Garden, Brooklyn.
