In this 2 day session you’ll learn to make beautiful and unique jewelry with BronzClay and CopprClay. These two materials are the latest rage in the world of metal clay and are sure to excite you. BronzClay and CopprClay are bronze or copper particles suspended in a clay-like medium. It’s non-toxic, and at 1/3 the price of traditional metal clay it’s a bargain!

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn: a brief history of metal clay, the details of the invention of BronzClay and CopprClay and it’s inventor, and more importantly the basics of BronzClay and CopprClay. How to work with and store BronzClay and CopprClay, how they are different from traditional metal clay (and how to take advantage of those differences) how to add layering and textures, how to combine BronzClay and CopprClay together and use them with silver metal clay. Plus you’ll learn stone setting techniques, how to fire BronzClay and CopprClay and the different options for firing them. We’ll also try out several finishing techniques and explore patinas if time permits. You decide what to make in class; pendants, charm or earrings even a bracelet (depending on skill level).

Costs includes 100 grams each of BRONZclay and COPPRclay.
