Broker/Dealer - Equipped with an array of samplers,
sequencers and vintage synthesizers, San Francisco
wunderkinds Ryan Fitzgerald and Ryan Bishop make
catchy minimal electronic music equally suited for the
den or the dancefloor, simultaneously channeling the
aquatic dub of Berlin's Chain Reaction label and the
genre-defining minimal techno of the Kompakt imprint.
On their debut Asphodel full-length, Initial Public
Offering, Broker/Dealer recalls German electronic
artists like Mike Ink, while conjuring up Metro Area's
innovative electro-disco. Featuring subterranean
basslines, ambient synth pads, dubby beats and
interlocking pop melodies, Broker/Dealer's porous,
punchy tracks and classy melodic nuances have been
eliciting comparisons with the likes of early Mouse on
Mars and Thomas Brinkmann;numerous 12" releases on
well-respected labels Traum Schallplatten, Sentrall,
and Spectral (an imprint of Ghostly International)
have earned Broker/Dealer an internationally reknowned
reputation all their own. Broker/Dealer also
contributed a remix for the current Smartypants
release "Soup" on Boston label Zero G Sounds.

Gregory Shiff: With a combination of red-letter
recordings and thunderous live shows, Gregory Shiff
has been working his way into the world's electronic
consciousness. Described as "New York City's master of
all things tech and house..." (XLR8R), he has solidly
earned his spot among the United State's new elite
producers, releasing a wide range of critically
acclaimed music from deep techno on the Persona
imprint to tech house tracks on the Bedrock label.
Taking his live act on the road, Greg has performed
across America and Europe infusing dance floors with
"...uplifting but resolutely underground techno" (DJ
Mag).
