Opening the Archives; A chance to see, handle and turn the pages of unique items from the Reference Library’s store-rooms, relating to every day life in Bristol during the Napoleonic era 1790’s to 1807. Please phone Bristol Reference Library, 0117 9037202, to make a booking. Entry is free but each session is limited to 20 people and lasts approximately one hour.
Items on display include original newspapers, illustrations, books, maps, etc. Also come and see the Main Exhibition, in the Reference Library corridor, which compliments this special day.
