Bring your unidentified treasures to the Burke Museum on Sat., Jan. 10, 1 – 4 pm to learn more about where they came from and the stories behind them.
Do you have an object you can’t quite place? If it’s from somewhere along the Pacific Rim or North America, one of the Burke’s curators can help you figure it out. Dozens of experts will be available to identify cultural objects from the Northwest Coast, Pacific Islands, and Asia, in addition to specimens from throughout the natural world (including bones, fossils or animal teeth). A limit of two items per visitor is requested because of the event’s popularity. No appraisals are given.

Entrance to Artifact Identification Day is included with museum admission. Burke Museum members receive free admission and are “fast tracked” through the line.
