WSRC scholar, Vivian Montgomery, will perform and lead a discussion on how young lady amateur pianists from the mid-nineteenth-century American households developed their talent and showcased their technical accomplishment. This performance and lecture will take place in the Slosberg Recital Hall, located at Brandeis University.

The Women’s Studies Research Center (WSRC) at Brandeis University will host 11 lectures this semester featuring the works from various WSRC scholars. Lectures are held at 12:30 p.m. in the Women’s Studies Research Center, Epstein Building, 515 South St., Waltham, Mass, unless otherwise noted. Admission is free.
