Charles Kinsley from Ontario Native Land will speak about native plant horticulture, germination, and environmental issues related to native plant seed harvesting. Karen Abrahams of Native Plants in Claremont will provide native seeds and plants for sale. Bring your native plants and seeds to exchange with other native plant owners.

11:00 - 12:00--Seed Ball Workshop: Learn how to make prairie plant seed balls that germinate in your garden. This is a great activity for kids and adults. $ 10.00 material fee.

12:00 - 1:00--Native Plant Seed Exchange Please: Bring your own bags (paper bags are the best for storing seeds). FREE

1:00 - 2:30--Presentation on Native Plants and Native Plant Seeds: Charles Kinsley will discuss different kinds of native plants and native plant seed issues, as well as an introduction on how to harvest, store and grow native plant seeds. FREE
