Brian Epstein Plaque Unveiling September 28, 2010

A plaque honoring Brian Epstein is to be unveiled by Cilla Black in a ceremony Tuesday morning in London at a building which once housed his NEMs company and the Beatles fan club. Black signed to be managed by Epstein in 1963 and became the only female vocalist he worked with.

The unveiling, to take place at 9:30 a.m. local time, will be at Seven Dials Trust, located at 13 Monmouth St. The address was formerly the headquarters for Brian Epstein's NEMS after he moved the firm from Liverpool in 1963. It was also the location for the Beatles' fan club until it relocated to London's West End. The area now houses a mixture of independent shops, bars and restaurants.
