Brews and Bites September 5, 2009

The newly founded “San Luis Brewers Guild” is planning their 1st Annual “Brews & Bites” on Saturday, September 5th in the Mission Plaza in San Luis Obispo from 12-5 pm. The guild is made up of all breweries based in San Luis Obispo County and they will showcase their craft beers together with foods from local restaurants who will be working together with local producers at this annual event.

There is no entrance fee to the beer fest, which will also feature musical groups "Shival Experience", "Penny Jar" and acostic performer Matt Suarez. Tasting fee will be $8, which includes the commemorative tasting glass and 3 free tastes. Thereafter, all beer tasters will cost $1. Proceeds from the event will go to EcoSlo, a local environmental group.
