Brendan Perry is best known for his work as the male half of the duo, Dead Can Dance, with Lisa Gerrard. Formed in 1981, Dead Can Dance reached popularity in the U.S. in the early 90s when they inked a deal with 4AD Records. Their six album, Into The Labyrinth, made them the label’s highest selling act and reached the Billboard 200. A live album and tour followed, and their final Dead Can Dance album, Spiritchaser, was released to acclaim in 1996. In 1999, Perry released his solo album, Eye of the Hunter, on 4AD Records. Around 2001, Perry did the music for a 10-mm film (Mushin) made by Graham Wood, who designed the artwork for the box set Dead Can Dance (1981-1998) and the album Wake. He released another solo album, Ark, last year, and it will be available in the United States this May. As well as material from Ark and Eye of the Hunter, Brendan will be performing new songs from his forthcoming album which he intends to record this coming summer at Quivvy Studios.

Robin Guthrie grew up in Central Scotland and in 1981, at the age of 19, made his first album with Cocteau Twins. Robin is a co-founder of Cocteau Twins, and is one of the principal songwriters and musicians. Robin's unique style of guitar-playing and songwriting—not to mention his deft production skills in the recording studio—have earned him the respect of musicians throughout the world. Working at first with Will Heggie and, since, with Simon Reymonde, Robin has played guitar, bass, keyboards, drums and other instruments over the years, plus programming, sampling and sound processing. Robin shares duties with Simon as a partner in Bella Union Records. In addition to his work as a producer and engineer, Robin's has also worked with Siobhan De Mare (formerly of MONO) in Violet Indiana, on several albums with Harold Budd, and released his own solo albums on Darla Records.
