4243 Manchester Ave
St Louis, Missouri 63110

St. Louis favorite Brave Combo will hit the stage at The Gramophone, 4243 Manchester Ave, between Tower Grove Ave. and Boyle Ave., in the Grove, to kick off the holiday season on Friday, November 27, 2009. This visit, on the heels of Brave Combo’s incredibly crowd-pleasing performances at this year’s Soulard Oktoberfest will be the Texas based quintet’s debut appearance at the highly-touted night spot.
Brave Combo’s holiday celebration is like no other Christmas show. The band takes holiday favorites and infuses them with humor and arrangements that beg the audience to get in the swing of things on the dance floor. From the band’s version of “Must be Santa” which was the inspiration for Bob Dylan’s much discussed cover version of the song in his recent release to “Christmas in July” which inspired a front page piece on the Wall Street Journal this past summer, Brave Combo offers holiday cheer in a style uniquely their own. From salsa to polka to the cha, cha
a Brave Combo Holiday Celebration inspires even the most die-hard, sit in your chair spectator to hit the dance floor.
Show time is 9:00 p.m. and ticket cost is $12 at the door. For more info and to purchase tickets go to www.thegramophonelive.com or call 314- 531-5700.
