Brave Combo turns the big 3-0 in 2009 and they are coming to Fitzgerald’s, 2706 White Oak Drive, Houston, TX 77007, on July 18, 2009 to celebrate. Special guests Los Skarnales will add to the celebration.
In typical Brave Combo fashion the multi-talented quintet has marked this milestone anniversary by exploring “The Exotic Rocking Life” (Dentone Records), recorded a CD of live music with the Mesquite Symphony Orchestra and criss-crossed the USA to perform at clubs, festivals and special events. Paste Magazine, in an article about the music scene in Denton, Texas dubbed the group “The Grand Pooh-bah" of the bands coming out of "little d."
