Wordless Music presents an intimate late-night benefit concert with Nonesuch Records artists Brad Mehldau and Chris Thile at Le Poisson Rouge in Greenwich Village on Friday, October 10, 2008.

In keeping with the cross-genre spirit of the Wordless Music series, pianist Brad Mehldau will perform his first-ever solo recital devoted to composers from the classical canon, with music of Bach and Brahms, and select compositions of his own. Mandolinist Chris Thile (of Punch Brothers and Nickel Creek) will also perform music from Bach next to his own compositions.

Tickets for this event are extremely limited. Preferred seating tickets will be on sale for $75 and a small number of $50 general admission tickets will be made available as well. 100% of ticket proceeds will be donated to Senator Barack Obama's presidential campaign.

Doors open at 10:30pm, with performance to start at 11pm sharp. To purchase tickets, please visit < >.
