Boys Town New York Annual Building Hope Gala November 20, 2008

The Building Hope Gala 2008 is Boys Town New York’s annual fundraiser. The gala, featuring dinner, entertainment, a silent auction and more serves to heighten awareness and raise much needed funds in support of the organization’s interventional programs for at-risk, abused, abandoned and neglected girls and boys.

Boys Town New York is a beacon of hope for New York’s children and families through its life-changing youth care programs, providing the right services at the right time based on a child’s or family’s needs. Since opening in 1991, Boys Town New York has served 3,889 children and families through its various programs. In 2007, 470 children received help from Boys Town New York’s Treatment Family Services and Intervention and Assessment Services. Another 106,663 children and families in the greater New York area were assisted through Child and Family Support Services, including the Boys Town National Hotline (800.448.3000).
