Meshing the emotion of 60's rock with the grit of roots and mod rock is something these four gents have accomplished. Bottle Rocket Blue injects heavy influences of Beach Boys, Beatles and Wilco and out bleeds crafty songwriting that is powerful and introspective. Think intelligent hooks that won't leave your head and tell your feet to keep moving. Troy, Tom, Barry and Jason all met for the first time to perform in the fall of 2003, soon they were performing to large crowds. With hopes of making quality music that people like, they started to develop small followings in towns across the Midwest. They are currently touring and just released their first ep, Dive Bar Girl, out now. This band is about four guys creating beautiful noise, the magic of the moment and the people that get to experience it.

Lush string arrangements; a flare for the exotic; a symphonic scope. These are elements most would not expect could be paired with hook-driven piano rock - most, except for Wolfy.



Emerging on Indianapolis' musical horizon to become one of its premiere piano rock bands over the past 18 months, Wolfy exhibits a refined quality that is uniquely mature, especially given their relatively short time together. While the original songs in their quickly growing repertoire are solid examples of catchy pop hooks and strong musical craftsmanship, Wolfy raises the bar even further with an attuned ear for vibe. To an already rocking sound comprised of crashing keys, pocket bass and driving drums, Wolfy adds flourishing strings, sweeping synthscapes and dulcet vocal melodies to round it all out. This small trio has a really big sound.
