BotBall Regional Tournament May 10, 2008

The 5th annual regional Botball tournament. This is now the secondnd largest regional in the US, with 38 teams from 35 schools. Teams bring two robots to the table and go one school vs. one school in seeding rounds and then are rank ordered to play each other in elimination matches in the afternoon. All robots operate for 2 minutes autonomously (no remote control allowed). The event is free and open to the public (parking is $5 per vehicle). We have practice until about 9:00 a.m., then seeding rounds from about 10 a.m. after opening ceremonies. After lunch, the double elimination tournament. There will be seats atnd bleachers and matches are projected so it is very visible to audiences.
