City in rhyme - The Opera House presents a kalidescope of 7 artists (Joelle Geisler,Josh Green,Brian Hollingsworth,JoAnne Santangelo,Cory Skuldt,Leah Smith,Jeanne Stern, & Dan Zinno)whose only common thread is that they've all relocated from the Boston, MA area to Austin, TX. These artists span a range of medium from photography, painting, glass, interactive sculpture, to wearable art. Also, short films and videos including “Walk for Capitalism : Battle for the Status Quo” will be shown, followed by musical entertainment by fellow northeasterner Billy Cook, as well as, local sound artist Gary Barftits. On view March 1st-31st.
