Borrego Days Desert Festival October 22, 2011

Grab the family and head on out to California’s Secret Desert, Borrego Springs, for the 46th Annual Borrego Days Desert Festival. Friends and family will gather for this three day local tradition to enjoy a little sliver of Americana in our own backyard. This FREE festival takes place on Friday, October 21, 2011 and continues onto Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sunday, October 23, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. On Saturday morning be sure to come out and enjoy the parade through town at 10:00 AM to see the lively marching bands, floats, decorated golf carts, equestrian groups and more! Afterwards take a stroll to pursue an array of artist and vendor booths, listen to the amazing live entertainment on the stage or quench your thirst in the beer garden. Even the little ones are guaranteed to have a good time as they keep busy all day enjoying the children’s area complete with mini-carnival, face painting, pony rides, interactive activities, and arts and crafts.
