He's done showcase sets at just about all of Bootie's parties – from Bootie SF at Cherry Bar, to Bootie LA and Bootie New York ... and he's now ready to do a prime time set on the main floor of the DNA Lounge. Bootie house band SMASH-UP DERBY will be taking the stage at 11 PM sharp ... and this month, they're taking requests. Got a favorite Smash-Up Derby mashup? Then yell it out! They're gonna play what you want to hear! It's Smash-Up Derby "request night!"
When we saw HEKLINA perform the 2manyDJs bootleg classic, "Smells Like Bootylicious" at Trannyshack a few months ago, we knew it had "Bootie midnight mashup show" written all over it! So this month, we are very proud to present an encore performance of this show-stopping number! It's an awesome production – don't miss it!
Last week, we did a Bootie Party at Burning Man at our favorite camp, Fandango, home to the best bar in Black Rock City! Now we're back, and Fandango is throwing a bit of its own "decompression" party in the upstairs lounge, with DJs MALDEROR, ADRIAN, and REDSTICKMAN. The party ain't over yet! Join us post-Burn with some of the best party people in the city.
