Now that Bootie is twice a month, house band SMASH-UP DERBY gets to take a break every fourth Saturday. However, rest assured, Smash-Up Derby will still be playing Bootie every 2nd Saturday, and we're happy to have them back on the DNA Lounge stage this weekend!
This Saturday, Smash-Up Derby plans to play a "B-Sides Set," dusting off some forgotten favorites and a few mashups that the band doesn't play out too often. Expect a few surprises!

We love featuring other clubs and parties in the upstairs room at Bootie, and this month, we are proud to bring you – from New York City WARPER!
Warper is NYC's premiere LIVE electronic music party. Kicking things off at 9:30 PM will be the PHONE SEX OPERATORS, a San Francisco-based DJ/guitar duo, who perform solid dance music but with live looping guitar laid out on on top. Get there early to check this out!
Starting at 10:30 PM, Warper co-creator and special guest DJ MOLDOVER will be throwing down nasty remixes and mashups, produced 100% live, on-the-fly, using Ableton Live and his custom-created controller, a style he calles live-remashing and controllerism.

At 12:30 AM, San Francisco's very own TRADEMARK G. of THE EVOLUTION CONTROL COMMITTEE will be joining him, bringing along his own unique live-cut-up stylings, including a special presentation of "The Wheel of Mashup." The Wheel of Mashup is audience-interactive and TradeMark G. and Princess Frillypants will host your participation in rocking the dancefloor, ECC-style.

This month, we are happy to present the return of DJ FOX, who will be making his main floor debut, celebrating the release of his new CD, "Mashups Volume 8," which will be available at Amoeba Records on Haight Street.
Fox will be bringing a ton of CDs to give away during his set – so be sure to get there early! He hits the decks from 10-11 PM.

Crazy drag queen MONISTAT returns to the Bootie stage this month with a midnight mashup show performed to DJ Earworm's jazzy Sarah Vaughan vs. Nelly Furtado track, "Promiscuous Lola." Don't miss Monistat's audience-shocking, only-in-San Francisco, performance!

Of course, your trio of resident DJs will be on hand – ADRIAN, MYSTERIOUS D, and PARTY BEN – each spinning a set in prime time for your dancing pleasure. All of them are working feverishly this week on some fresh new mashups, which they hope to debut this Saturday!
Opening DJ DADA will also be in the house, kicking off the night with his eclectic mix of rock and dance mashups.
As always, we've got free Bootie CDs to the first 100 people – and it's $8 before 10:30 pm, so get there early!
See you on Saturday!
