We are bringing together New York’s top recruiters to give you the tools you need to get the publishing position you want. Panelists
Susan Gordon, President and CEO Lynne Palmer Executive Recruitment, Inc. Susan Gordon joined the company as a recruiter in 1983. Six years later, she became President and has established the firm as a leader in the recruiting industry. Before coming to Lynne Palmer, she was in the Human Resources department at Random House. As an involved member of the publishing community, Susan is active at the NYU Publishing Course.

Robert Defendorf, Director, Human Resources Scholastic Inc. Currently Director, Human Resources, Robert Defendorf has been at Scholastic Inc. since 1996. He began his career in publishing with Doubleday Book Clubs in 1985. Robert has worked among several divisions within the Scholastic company and is now managing HR affairs for the Trade Publishing, Book Clubs, and International groups.
