43 South Molton
London, England W1

43 South Molton is probably my favourite find of the year, a private members club in Mayfair, the venue is beautiful, a whole world away from the usual grimey holes we get thrown into. What's more, unlike the similar in style Parlour at Sketch, the venue has a Funktion 1 soundsystem installed, so not only can you kick back in style but you can actually enjoy the music as well.

This Thursday sees the launch of Bombe Surprise a fortnightly event where the doors of the club will be thrown open to the public and where artists, film makers, musicians and djs will come together and get riotously drunk. Music on the launch night comes from the hotly tipped The Real Heat, a 3 piece all girl electro, grime, ghettotech act, the wayward wrong-step of North of Ping Pong and DJ sets from the likes of Furthur's John Power and Matthew !WOWOW! who will no doubt be spinning lots of electro, carioca funk, baltimore rave and whatever else is just so now.

And what's better is that it is FREE entry all night, can't say fairer than that really can you.
