L.A.'s most "hilariously deranged" (Los Angeles Times) holiday tradition is Bob's Holiday Office Party, and it's back to add a little salt to the season at The Lounge Theatre in Hollywood, November 29 through December 22.

Every year, insurance agent Bob Finhead's whacked-out friends and clients stop by his small-town Iowa office for their annual holiday bash. The town mayor, the sheriff, the triplet farmer sisters, the stoner, the town floozy and the pastor's wife have already RSVPed for this year's event. But Bob has dreams of a bigger life and wants to escape their narrow-minded thinking. Will he be able to fulfill his dream of becoming a professional inventor and move to the big city, or will he come to realize how much he is the heart and soul of the town? Will any of this matter once the party starts, the bickering and fighting begins, and the drinks hit the floor?

Bob's Holiday Office Party originated as an improv sketch twelve years ago and has since developed into a seasonal tradition with a loyal cult following. Each year audience members (dubbed 'Bobophiles' by the Los Angeles Times) follow the show to its new location.

"This year I got the first 'where's it going to be?' call in the third week of August," laughs co-writer Rob Elk, who also stars as Bob. "Every year we tweak the script a little, so there are a few surprises for those people who keep coming back."

Bob's Holiday Office Party has been described variously as "riotously funny" (Back Stage West); "a gut-busting good time" (LA Weekly); and "irreverent, crude and devastatingly funny" (Los Angeles Times).

Performances of Bob's Holiday Office Party take place Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 7pm, November 29 through December 22. Tickets are $25.00. he Lounge Theatre is located at 6201 Santa Monica Blvd. one block east of Vine at El Centro.
