Bobby Deen Prepares a Recipe from Diabetes in a New Light April 13, 2013

On Saturday, April 13, Bobby Deen, star of the Cooking Channel’s “Not My Mama’s Meals,” will appear at the American Diabetes Association Expo to prepare a diabetes-friendly recipe from the Diabetes in a New Light® campaign.

Bobby, along with his mother Paula Deen and brother Jamie, partnered with Novo Nordisk to help adults like Paula tackle common challenges associated with type 2 diabetes management. As part of the campaign, the Deens have created diabetes-friendly recipes in conjunction with diabetes experts, and are cooking them at events across the country, including the American Diabetes Association Expo.
