Bob Stocksdale: Woodturner October 5, 2010

American woodturner Bob Stocksdale was a native of Indiana, who began working with wood as a teenager repairing furniture. He learned the art of woodturning while living in a conscientious objector camp during World War II. Known for his work with exotic woods with unusual grains and colors, Stocksdale created simple forms to highlight these properties.
