BOB SEGER
& THE SILVER BULLET BAND

KEYARENA – SEATTLE, WA
February 22, 2007

On Sale Saturday, December 16 at 10:00 AM

Seattle, WA – Live Nation welcomes legendary rockers Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band to the KeyArena on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at 7:30 p.m.
Bob Seger is hitting the road in support of his latest album, “Face the Promise,” on his first concert tour since 1996. The Michigan native and his Silver Bullet Band kicked of the tour on November 8 in Grand Rapids, MI.
“Face the Promise,” which hit stores September 12, debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 album chart, marking Seger’s highest chart debut ever.
“Seger offers more dead-on renderings of his Michigan-sired rock as though it’s the hottest new style in town, burning significant rubber on ‘Wreck This Heart’ and ascending to heights of dashboard eloquence on ‘Wait for Me”….Seger fearlessly remains Seger,” said Rolling Stone. The New York Times observed “Mr. Seger gets back in the game and sounds as if he hasn’t lost a step.”
“It’s a pretty high-energy rock record,” Seger recently told USA Today. “I would say it’s more rock ‘n roll than usual. I wrote a lot of songs, a lot of songs. I probably recorded about 30, but the best songs happened to be more rock-leaning.”
Seger — a 2004 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee — has sold nearly 50 million albums in his career. Among his eleven platinum and seven multi-platinum awards, Against the Wind, Night Moves and Stranger in Town have each been RIAA-certified for over 5 million album sales in the U.S., as has his massively-influential 1976 breakthrough classic, Live Bullet. Seger’s 1994 Greatest Hits has perennially been a Top 10 seller on Billboard’s pop catalog chart for the past 12 years, currently #2, R.I.A.A. certified 8x Platinum, a clear indication that such vivid tales of working class lives as “Night Moves,” “Turn The Page,” “Old Time Rock & Roll,” “Against The Wind,” and “Mainstreet” resonate as much now as when they were first recorded.
