Blood Drive at Phoenixville YMCA November 30, 2010

Freedom Valley YMCA/Phoenixville, 400 E. Pothouse Road, Phoenixville, will be hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, November 30, from 3pm-8pm. The blood drive is being sponsored in conjunction with Ben FM, and will be hosted by Miller-Keystone Blood Center - exclusive blood supplier to Phoenixville Hospital, Pottstown Memorial Medical Center and Brandywine Hospital.

Anyone registering to donate at this, or any MKBC community blood drive during the month of November can also enter a raffle for the chance to win a $500 gift certificate to the store of their choice.

Miller-Keystone Blood Center was recently named as the exclusive blood supplier to Phoenixville Hospital and Brandywine Hospital.

Thanks to Freedom Valley YMCA and Ben FM for their commitment to our regional blood supply, and we urge all local residents to support a vital community service by donating at this blood drive.

In order to donate blood, individuals must be 17 years of age or older, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be feeling healthy; they must not have donated in the past eight weeks. All donors must also provide valid identification; ID must have the donor's name printed on it, as well as a photo and/or signature.
