After a successful beta launch, the festival suffered a setback when Susie Porter decided to close the Town Fryer, and move to San Diego. Undaunted, the organizers gathered at Cafe Miami to regroup and reorganize. A brainstorming session ensued, and at the top of a shortlist of venues was the Beachland Ballroom. As a testimony to the "small world" network we’ve built in Northeast Ohio, a quick email got the ball rolling, with Cindy Barber suggesting that Bloggapalooza take place during the Waterloo Arts Festival.

So we immediately have a ton of synergies. Many of the bloggers who attended (or wanted to attend) have families. Arts Collinwood (who, by the way, is a non-profit and our event is for the benefit of) is going to be having tons of kid’s events. We will be anchoring a venue (the tavern) as a happening spot for the adults w/o kids to gather.

Admission price: $5.00 Chinese Raffle All proceeds will be for the benifit of ArtsCollinwood and its ongoing programs that benefit the Collinwood neighboorhood.
