If you're new to the idea of a demoparty, the concept is simple: set up a stage, invite programmers, artists and musicians from around the world to enter competitions, watch in amazement what comes out, and then hand out prizes to the best of the bunch.

A North American demoparty, can you believe it? I can't wait to see what emerges. I'm really looking forward to the tracked music presentation, as I've enjoyed MOD/S3M files for years but never dug too deeply into the software that builds them.
