Bloc Weekend March 14, 2008

BLOC weekend is three days of independent electronic music, held in a self-contained holiday park complex for two and a half thousand people.

The three indoor arenas will be hosting something like 60+ international acts, including a "Very Special Guest" still to be announced, the reformed Red Snapper (live), Amon Tobin, Bochum Welt, Lory D, Luke Vibert, EDMX, Dave Clarke, Joey Beltram, Juan Atkins, Ben Sims, Phuture 303 (live), A Guy Called Gerald (live), The Black Dog (live), Bitstream (live), LA Synthesis (1st live show in 10 years), Transparent Sound (live), the wee djs (live), Bass Junkie, and many more.

The BassBloc and TecBloc arenas are open until 6AM on Friday, all day Saturday until 6AM and then the whole day on Sunday. The SmashBloc arena is open 24 hours a day.

There's self-catered heated chalet accommodation on site, with ensuite and equipped with beds, kitchen, showers and all mod cons. The seaside holiday park also has bars, swimming pool, go-karts and lots of other holiday treats.
