Blending with Brooklyn Winery Wines January 28, 2013

Join us on Monday, January 28 for our newest wine class, in which you'll learn how to blend wine using vino that we've made right here on site. Instructor Lex Kiefhaber will give you a brief history of blending wine, with a look into where it all started and why those crazy monks decided the magic was in the mix. You'll learn how and why we blend wine today, and why the sum is greater than its parts (or, at least, can be). Lex will touch upon what each component of wine can bring to the mix, and how different parts complement and balance each other, yielding a superior product. Each guest will be treated to a flight of three Brooklyn Winery wines so that we can actively taste, talk about, and compare wines throughout.
