BLAZIN HOG COMPETITION BBQ & ZYDECO MUSIC FESTIVAL September 18, 2010

On Saturday September 18th, 2010, the John C. Fremont Hospital Foundation will present its Fourth Annual
“BLAZIN’ HOG” BBQ Competition & Zydeco Music Festival,
to be held at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds, in historic Mariposa, California.

Our event last year was a huge success! The food was great, the music was hot, the weather was perfect and the crowd loved it! The next one promises to be even better!
Central California eagerly awaits Blazin’ Hog 2010!

The competition will be open to all teams from the private and corporate sector. This event will test the knowledge and skill of all BBQ enthusiasts. Your mouth-watering entries will be judged by a select panel of tasting judges, as well as,all of the people attending the event.
This is a great way to promote your BBQ team, business, church, or service club.
Cash prizes will be awarded for all categories. First Prize is $500 each category.

The music stage will once again, be alive with well known Zydeco recording artists for your
toe-tapping, and dancing pleasure. Vendors will be selling those one-of-a-kind items. Public tasting is available.

Proceeds will benefit the JCF Hospital Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to advancing the health care of our community by providing financial support to the hospital. Being the only hospital in this medically underserved area of Mariposa County, JCF is struggling to maintain high quality health for nearly 25,000 people in these financially desperate times. Your support helps us toward meeting that commitment to our community.
