blasthaus proudly presents another raging NINJATUNE party on Thursday June 18 featuring mad skills by DAEDELUS (performing LIVE!) and GHISLAIN POIRIER (dj set). Daedulus will be performing all new material from his forthcoming new record. And while his reputation has grown internationally, his place in the LA scene has also solidified. The musician that many of the hottest names in the city turn to for everything from bass clarinet licks to advice on obscure electronics, Daedelus has worked extensively with Taz from Sa-Ra, the pair of them opening for the likes of DJ Assault, Justice and Two Live Crew as well as appearing in Erykah Badu’s most recent video.

Montreal's Ghislian Poirer is quickly becoming the new Ninja hot property being tapped for remixes left and right, the latest by Major Lazer (more about that in a second). Obsessed with big, dirty beats, an affliction that causes him to create some of the most out-of-control ragga riddims and deconstructed abstract hip hop to date. In the past Poirier has collaborated with MCs and DJs from across the globe, working with NYC’s resident Large cats MC Beans (Warp) and DJ Rupture (Tigerbeat6), as well as Parisian heavyweights TTC (Big Dada) and London’s Lotek Hi-Fi (Big Dada) amongst others.Keep your ears open, your feet in check and be prepared to Bounce!

Mochipet, a San Francisco luminary, is slated to play a live set that will knock your socks off!
