Formed in 2001 after a meeting between Porcupine Tree frontman/producer Steven Wilson and Israeli singer/songwriter Aviv Geffen, the partnership blossomed into a cross-cultural collaboration as an exceptional new duo, Blackfield.

Spanning five years of recordings and concerts in Tel Aviv and London, Blackfield has released one prior album and several well-received singles, garnering a major #1 radio hit across Europe in 2004, as well as a dedicated fanbase in the US. Following a series of new recording sessions in Israel and the UK, the two have reunited for the hypnotic Blackfield II, a collection of rich, melancholy-tinged rock songs, produced by Wilson himself.
