The community is invited to remember yesterday's challenges, recognize today's accomplishments and be a part of tomorrow's dreams at this celebration of African American heritage at Gail Borden Public Library. Family literacy activities, soul food tasting, drawings for free prizes, children's activities, table talks and entertainment by Kathryn Harris portraying Harriet Tubman, Danceworks Chicago and the Second Baptist Church Dramatists of Famous People will make the festival memorable. No tickets or registration are needed.
