►VITALIC – THE PLAYGROUND is proud to announce Vitalic as the headliner of our Easter Thursday night at KOKO. Pascal Arbez better known by his stage name Vitalic is a French electronic artist, songwriter and remixer. To date he has released 3 studio albums – his debut OK Cowboy, Flashmob and Vitalic's third studio album, Rave Age, which was released on November 5th, 2012.
He has also had great success as a remixer, working on songs by artists such as Basement Jaxx, Daft Punk and Moby.

►YUKSEK- Yuksek (Pierre-Alexandre Busson) is a French electronic music producer and remixer. After playing the piano for ten years at a conservatoire, he took part in several bands such as Klanguage, whose first album was released in 2007. He created his first tracks as Yuksek in 2006 and then started to perform successfully as a DJ all over the world. At the same time, his first EPs and remixes were released on labels such as Relish, I'm a cliché, Kitsuné, Xploited and Citizen. Yuksek has also been involved in many other musical projects such as The Krays (with Brodinski) and Peter & The Magician (with Stephen Fasano, ex-Aeroplane).

►ETIENNE DE CRECY – (DJ SET) also known as Superdiscount, EDC, Minos Pour Main Basse and Mooloodjee) was born in Lyon, France and attended the same Jules Ferry college as Air and Alex Gopher, with whom he later created the Solid label. He then worked in Paris as a sound engineer at studio +XXX ("plus thirty") where he met Philippe Zdar of Cassius, with whom he worked on the Motorbass album,[1] a preview of what would be his second album: Super Discount, released in 1996, with Air, Alex Gopher and other French artists on Solid.

►KAP BAMBINO- Caroline Martial and Orion Bouvier are known for their exciting electrically charged live shows with Caroline’s wild vocals and Orion’s electronic metal mixes. They’ve toured throughout Europe and Japan, playing along-side These New Puritans, Late Of The Pier and Patric Catani and are set to blaze the stage in their only club date in between their extensive list of festival performances exclusively for The Playground. “Their digital hardcore sound is compelling.. …a demented pulse of fight-or-flight energy that leaves us wanting to stomp on car bonnets all the way home.” NME

►GOOSE- Goose was formed in the summer of 2000 in Kortrijk, Belgium. Although first starting out as an AC/DC-like covers group, they quickly turned to writing and recording their own songs, heavily incorporating synthesizers into them. Their debut album Bring It On released on September 11, 2006. In the TMF Awards 2007, the band won the award for Best National Alternative Act. Goose released their second album Synrise on October 18, 2010. Synrise was also remixed by Belgium DJ duo Mumbai Science, Housemeister and Paul Chambers and was release April 25, 2011.

►DRAGONETTE- Canadian electronic music band from Toronto, Ontario. The duo Sorbara and Kurtz formed Dragonette after their initial recordings, supported New Order on only their second live performance prior to signing a record deal with UK record label Mercury Records. In 2008, Dragonette received a Juno Award nomination for Best New Group, whilst collaborating with Basement Jaxx, Kaskade, Don Diablo and Martin Solveig. 2012 saw Dragonette win the Juno Award for Dance Recording of the Year for "Hello"

►Continuing to cause a major stir on dance floors and radios globally, PUNX SOUNDCHECK are still upping the ante of electronic dance music, with a continually growing army of fans and big-name supporters. Their remixes of BOY GEORGE, STEVE STRANGE, STENCHMAN and KISSY SELL OUT are all regular fixtures in the sets of some of the world’s biggest DJs whilst recent release “Heavy Medication” alongside FERAL is Kinky released via Birth Records was picked up by UKF resulting in hundreds of thousands of views.

► THE COOLNESS- live- Drawing influence from a fusion of rave and electro, you will no doubt experience a full-on, No-Holds-Barred, Sex-Fuelled and impassioned set. “We're even using Utah Saints samples, an actual keyboard from this millennia, electronic drum pads & a highly rumoured, yet controversial slap bass solo... It may go horribly wrong...”
Further support comes from rising producers DAKTYL. THE NINETY’S, MOLO, TEMPLA and AIRMANN.
