The event, is hosted by Technology Ventures Corporation (TVC) and the New Mexico Biotechnology & Biomedical Association (NMBBA), and will focus on the growing bioscience industry and the role it plays in space exploration and research. Dr. Hughes-Fulford has been the Principal Investigator on a series of studies on biological effects of space travel on astronauts at NASA, and continues her work as an adjunct professor at UC Medical center in San Francisco. The luncheon will be held at The Marriott Pyramid Oct 23rd from 11:30am-1pm, cost for the event general public $40, NMBBA members $30, and students $20.
