Along with Big Jay’s rough personal start in show business, his seemingly sad self-image only adds to his sharp edge. Since he began stand up seven years ago, nothing has hindered his momentum as he launches further forward into comic stardom. He has appeared on his own “Comedy Central Presents,” “Tough Crowd” and “Premium Blend.” Aside from his Comedy Central appearances he has performed in multiple well-respected festivals such as HBO’s Comedy Art’s Festival in Aspen, CO.
Big Jay has also weighed in behind the scenes at “Chappelle’s Show,” and appeared on BET’s Comic View. His material extends from personal experience to nearly too personal for comfort, but his unexpected twists and nonchalant delivery make his performance irresistible.
