Let the Good Times Roll at Strathmore’s Big Easy Ball celebrating the rich, cultural heritage of New Orleans with authentic food and drinks, hot jazz by renowned musicians, and an After Party with live music and dancing.

This concert hall benefit performance features the Crescent City’s official Cultural Ambassador, Billboard Award-winning trumpeter Irvin Mayfield and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, while the After Party highlights Blue Note recording artist, “physician of voodoo funk” and four-time Grammy Award-winner, Dr. John.

The Spring Gala is Strathmore’s signature fundraising event of the season and its proceeds support the quality educational and artistic programming patrons have come to expect from this world-class venue. Gala funds enable Strathmore to present renowned artists and musicians year-round in both the Mansion and Music Center for concerts and exhibitions, and for special programs, such as artists-in-residence, master classes, and free community events and festivals.

Carol Trawick, CEO & President of Trawick Associates, and Catherine Leggett, wife of newly-elected Montgomery County Executive Isiah “Ike” Leggett, are co-chairs of the Gala.

Ticket packages (including a tax-deductible component) for cocktails, dinner, the performance, and dessert party are available at $500 and $1000 per person. Tables of ten and sponsorship opportunities are also available. Please contact the Development Office at 301-581-5128 for more information and to make your reservation for this unforgettable night of jazz and funk.
