Big September 11, 2009

In celebration of the National Archives 75th anniversary, a special exhibit will showcase big records, big events and big ideas. With the computer age in full swing, and as viewers struggle to see documents and records reproduced on screens growing ever smaller, this exhibit presents original records shown in all their full-scale glory. Visitors will see the 13-foot scroll of the Articles of Confederation, a map of the Gettysburg battlefield, a design proposed for the Lincoln Memorial and more.
