This show is based on the book by John Weidman with music by David Shire and lyrics by Richard Maltby. Josh Baskin is a twelve year old boy eager to grow up. He makes a wish on a carnival fortune telling machine to be "big." When he wakes up the next morning he finds that he is now a grown man. Josh must deal with the emotional trials of being an adult long before he is ready. The show is based on the 1988 movie starring Tom Hanks.
