Plein Air Drawing

Beginning through Intermediate

Instructor: Lisa Gorlin

Develop awareness of the methods you use to observe the world while expanding creative insight. Cultivate an understanding of basic drawing techniques and the essential elements of contour, value, texture and composition. Gain the tools to express your inspiration and skills to extend into other art forms.

Visual Technique

Whether you are a beginner or have some drawing experience, this class will make you more aware of the methods you use to observe the world around you and how you communicate that information. It is geared towards teaching you how to see in order to draw and will awaken you to the techniques of visual interpretation including shortcuts that will facilitate your natural ability to draw. Gain the tools to fully express your inspiration!

Mondays: July 9th through August 27th
6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Various Outdoor Locations in the City of Portland

Fee: $95 for 8 classes or $12 drop-in (minimum group size of four).
